Mrs. Tameka Cole, BA, MBA, MED

My name is Tameka Cole, I have been your Dean of Culture for six years and counting. It is my pleasure to stay at a school that I call my home and with all my great scholars, whom I have seen growing up.

For the 2024–2025 school year I will be focusing on changing negative thinking to positive thinking. Within the new school year, I will be focusing on:

· Being more active in the classroom

· Improving student engagement

· Academic development

· PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support program)

This year I will be implementing behavior issues, attendance issues and academic challenges. The behavior issues will be addressed by the new code of conduct. The students and parent must have a meeting with me before the student can return to class. If a parent is a no show a warning letter to the parent of a responsibilities ticket will be issued. Attendance is a critical part in a child’s learning, and it is imperative that all scholars come to school every day. I will be more visible in the classroom to help the students who may have behavior problems, due to not understanding the course work.
