"Where Second Chances Lead To Greater Comebacks!"

Detroit Lions Academy is an Alternative Middle School with a unique program. Our program provides an opportunity for over-age students to get back on the path to success in order to reach high school graduation. Our program offers a second chance to be successful in a supportive academic and social environment. In order to meet each student's needs, we offer smaller classroom sizes that enable students to receive individualized or small group instruction. Our administrators, highly qualified teachers and support staff make it possible to provide a safe, clean and supportive educational environment. Detroit Lions Academy participates in our district's implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (P.B.I.S.) to improve and encourage positive behaviors and academic outcomes. We have a strong school community partnership with the Detroit Lions Organization that supports us with our students' development and learning as well. Detroit Lions Academy is where second chances lead to greater comebacks. If you are looking to take the next step on your academic journey; consider our academics, offerings and community partnerships. If you have any questions regarding our program or enrollment you may contact our main office at (313) 852-9677 and a staff member will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have. We appreciate your interest and your investment in your child's future.
