Pretty Brown Girls

The Pretty Brown Girls program at Gardner Elementary School empowers young girls by fostering self-confidence, leadership, and sisterhood. Designed to celebrate the beauty and brilliance of girls of color, the program provides a safe space for discussions about self-esteem, cultural pride, and personal goals. Through engaging activities, mentoring sessions, and community projects, participants develop a deeper understanding of their potential while building meaningful connections with their peers. The Pretty Brown Girls initiative has become a cornerstone of the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, empowered students who are proud of their individuality and heritage.
