Our school community recently embarked on a series of exciting field trips to three local apple orchards! Students from 1-5 had the opportunity to experience the beauty of autumn first hand, while learning about the apple-picking process and the importance of agriculture.

These field trips were not only fun, but also educational. Students learned about the different stages of apple growth, the importance of pollination, and the various uses of apples, from eating fresh to making cider and apple pie.
