Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony

Dixon Educational Learning Academy celebrated its Kindergarten promotion ceremony on June 4th, 2024, with a heartfelt event that brought together family, friends, teachers, and administrators. The ceremony began with the students walking in with their graduation caps. The students performed two songs that were heartfelt and adorable.Teachers called up each student by name and shook their hands. There were also words of encouragement from the academic interventionist, Ms. Whitney and Minor; also Mr. Hall (social worker) and Mrs. Mitchell (school counselor).

Special Recognition went to our Kindergarten teachers, Ms. Woods and Ms. Evans because they will be retiring from DPSCD at the end of this school year. They received kind words of appreciation and bouquets of flowers.

The ceremony concluded with a joyous session of photographs, capturing memories that will be cherished for years to come. A delicious sweets table awaited the attendees, offering a variety of treats that added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration marked a significant milestone for the students, who are now ready to embark on their promotion to first grade. Congratulations to the Dixon Educational Learning Academy kindergarten class of 2024 on their promotion and we look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
