Dixon Educational Learning Academy celebrated its 8th grade promotion ceremony on June 3rd, 2024, with a heartfelt event that brought together family, friends, teachers, and administrators. The ceremony was a testament to the hard work and achievements of the students. Teachers and administrators took turns presenting awards and certificates, recognizing the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of the students. The event was skillfully hosted by the school counselor, Mrs. Mitchell, who not only guided the proceedings but also delivered a moving rendition of "Lift Every Voice and Sing," adding a poignant and celebratory note to the occasion. The class Valedictorian, Marcus Hubbard, also gave a humorous yet inspiring speech to his peers. 

The ceremony concluded with a joyous session of photographs, capturing memories that will be cherished for years to come. A delicious sweets table awaited the attendees, offering a variety of treats that added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration marked a significant milestone for the students, who are now ready to embark on their high school journey.
