Clippert's Newest Fall Gardening Project

Clippert Academy is blooming! This month 6th grade students designed and planted another rain garden at Clippert. Pooling water was flooding the field area behind these dumpsters. To problem solve, Ms. Ortiz and her students designed a rain garden with a trench and native perennials as a solution. Funds for the project came from a Bosch Grant received for Clippert's Go Green Team outstanding work. This is the schools THIRD rain garden, which is accompanied by a certified pollinator garden and a newly constructed outdoor classroom, funded by a Whole Food Kids Foundation grant. Lots to celebrate at Clippert during this beautiful fall season!
