In an exciting event at the Legacy Center on Saturday, March 9th, the Drew Eagles showed off their basketball skills at the district tournament. They played against the Redbirds and won 34-3, then went on to beat the Scorpions with a score of 53-10. These wins earned them a spot in the State Special Olympics basketball tournament on March 16th in Grand Rapids, where they finished third in their division after competing fiercely against teams like Walled Lake.

Special recognition goes to standout players Demond Moore, Jazzyon Green, Jeramey Brintley, Zion Rivers, Amir McCrary, and Dontae Adams, as well as their coaches Addison Martins, Darris Hampton, and Bruce Chapman. Thanks also to interpreters Aubrey and Jamieson. Congratulations to the whole Drew Crew team for their outstanding performance!
