Back to School Expo is Saturday, August 6, 2022: This year’s Back to School Expo will be held at all school locations across the District! Also, DPSCD and ARISE Detroit are partnering in conjunction with ARISE Detroit’s 16^th Annual Neighborhoods Day, also on August 6! The community is encouraged to sign up to beautify a school, while DPSCD families are encouraged to visit your community school to enroll, pick up valuable resources, learn about academic and extracurricular activities as well as enjoy fun activities. Parent Academy This Week: Featured workshops include the district wide Parent Leader meeting, presented by the Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE), on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, and Thursday, July 14, 2022. Both gatherings will run from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and will be held at Adult Education West, 16164 Asbury Park in Detroit, 48235. Enroll in a DPSCD School for the 2022-23 School Year! Bates Academy will hold an in-person open house Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. The community is invited to attend and learn about the offerings as well as the culture of Bates. Do your part to help students rise! Attend DPSCD’s Hiring Fair July 14, 2022: DPSCD is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our teams.
