Trick or Treat
Happy Halloween! Carstens students really enjoyed the Halloween activities planned for them.
The staff planned an outdoor Trunk-n-Treat, but because of the weather, students stayed inside. Grades Pre K to Fifth grade had a Halloween parade around the school as they collected treats door-to-door. All dressed up in their costumes the students had bags of goodies to take home. The Student Council passed candy to the younger students as well. At the Student Council table, the young ghosts and goblins had a chance to feel alien guts (pans of wet spaghetti noodles).
The Student Council also hosted a dance for middle school students. At the party students danced, ate snacks and left with goodie bags. This was the first event planned by the newly elected Student Council and it was a huge success.
