Annual Career Day

Adults always ask children, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", and the answers can range from a princess and a superhero to a teacher and a doctor, and everything in between. And that's exactly how it should be, because, at this age, nothing seems impossible to them.

That belief is the reason why our Career Day was so important. Our counselor, Ms. Foutner, coordinated a day filled with volunteers who shared their jobs and career journeys with our students. They learned first hand how working hard and believing in themselves can make many dreams come true. However, they also learned there is no "right" way to success - and it's okay to change your mind or your dream - just don't give up!

We truly appreciate every volunteer and staff member that took the time to speak to our youth. Your words will live on in ways you will never know.
