November was a bittersweet month at Carleton. Staff and students had to say goodbye and good luck to our dynamic outgoing Principal Myrina Scott as she moves on to a district position, but also had the chance to celebrate our own Assistant Principal being selected to step into the shoes of our new leader. We are beyond excited about this transition and eagerly welcome our new Principal Patrece Ingram.
Ms. Ingram has been committed to Carleton for years as a teacher, AP, and now Principal. She is dedicated to our students and their families and has an open door policy for everyone. Principal Ingram demonstrates leadership on all levels - you may see her leading a parent meeting, welcoming guests to the school, tutoring students after school, helping in the lunchroom, and even face painting a few cheeks (pre-covid). Her presence brings new energy and excitement to an already dynamic school, so we are beyond confident that we will continue to Realize Our Ability to Rise aka ROAR!
