The Michigan Bird Alliance came to our school for a presentation on birds and bird watching. Ms. Brittany brought birds that are Michigan natives and gave a lesson on migration, nesting and habitat, and reproduction. After her informative presentation, students and staff went to the field for a demonstration on binocular use and bird watching. The students enjoyed this experience immensely and a select few won a pair of binoculars to take home. Many teachers inquired about their class's opportunity to partake in the same assembly and were told we would resume scheduling in the springtime. Students were complimented on their superior behavior and great question-asking and observation. Go Tigers!
