Social Worker Mrs. Gregory coordinated Brewer Academy's 3rd Annual Holiday Adoption Program held on December 6th, 2024, where 70 of our students received gifts from Shrine Academy of Royal Oak, Students, and Families. Mrs. Gregory started this tradition in 2021 after meeting a parishioner by chance through a professional women's networking group. That year, Shrine Academy donated 40 desks, which the school utilized to outfit the Beyond Basics classroom which joined Brewer. Students enjoyed a festive afternoon of fellowship with Shrine Academy students as they enjoyed seasonal crafting, holiday treats, music, and presents! Donna Salagor, Campus Minister, shared the following sentiments, " I am excited and look forward to our partnership with Brewer Academy, each Christmas season, and so do our students and parishioners. We are looking for more ways to support your school community! You haven't heard the last of us!!" A warm and special thank you to Mrs. Gregory, who diligently works with our students and teachers to prepare wish lists and organize the holiday party where the gifts are exchanged. Her hard work and dedication brought a smile to so many of our beloved Brewer students.
