The Solar Eclipse Experience

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of Earth, totally or partially. It takes place about every 100-plus years. Students and staff spent the day outside and were amazed by this unique experience. The elementary students were beyond excited to see the covering of the sun; it wasn't a full coverage eclipse but the partial coverage was equally thrilling!
