Round 2 Application Window for Examination High Schools Starts February 27, 2023: Families, if you have a student who wants to apply to one of the District’s Examination High Schools, you can still do it, even if you did not apply in the fall. Save the Date of March 18, 2023, for the Level Up Expo: Attention 8th grade students and families, save March 18, 2023, for the Level Up to High School Expo, being held this year at Renaissance High School from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Expo highlights all DPSCD high school options: neighborhood, application, examination high schools, Alternative Education and Career and Technical Centers, providing families the opportunity to learn about program options to make the best choice for the 9th grade.

PSL Varsity Basketball Playoffs Start This Week: With several PSL teams amongst the top ranked high school basketball teams in the state (girls-Renaissance, boys-Cass Tech), the hoop action heats up this week with Round 1 of the PSL playoffs. The girls' will tip on Thursday, February 9, while the boys' playoffs begin on Friday, February 10. Check with your school for specific matchups, times, and locations.
