Ronald Brown Academy proudly celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, or MLK Day, a holiday that honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and is celebrated on the third Monday of January.

A Day of Service

MLK Day is also a national day of service, encouraging Americans to volunteer and improve their communities.
A Day of Remembrance and Reflection

MLK Day is a day to remember King's message of racial equality and justice, and to strive to make a positive impact in our communities.

A Day to Learn

Many national parks and local communities preserve places where King made history and influenced the Civil Rights Movement.
