MLK Academic Afterschool Support Starts This Week!

MLK Academic Afterschool support will begin this week! Afterschool Academic support will occur in two movements the first will consist of Afterschool Tutoring Support for all MLK students. MLK is excited to offer FREE academic tutoring for all MLK students. After School support will be offered every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:45pm until 5:30pm. Starting on Thursday, interested students should report to the MLK Media Center, as a courtesy dinner will be provided for students participating in the program in the MLK Cafeteria at 3:30pm.

The second movement of support will come in the form of Edgenuity or Credit Recovery for students who failed any courses last school year. MLK School Counselors will begin the work of placing students into failed courses via the Edgenuity platform. Students will see these courses listed on their schedules by checking PowerSchool. Students are allowed to take PowerSchool classes remotely, but please know face to face support is available every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45pm until 5:30pm.
