Our Programs

Students from Davis Aerospace and Golightly CTC were able to experience a behind the scenes tour of the Delta Airlines Operations at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). This tour was made possible by Junior Achievement who worked with Delta Airlines to provide this truly unique experience. Students were able to visit the operations hub, interact with pilots and a variety of other staff and even got to climb aboard an airplane in one of Delta's Hangers.
Davis Aerospace instructors were able to visit the AOPA High School Symposium in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Stevenson, Mr. Prater and Mr. Orzel had the opportunity to attend this conference where they were able to interact with teachers and aviation professionals from around the country who also utilize the AOPA High School Curriculum. Davis Aerospace was one of the pilot schools for this curriculum during it's development and we continue to use it each day in some of our Aviation Electives.
Selfridge ANGB is located in Macomb County near Mount Clemens. A number of entities have a presence on the base including the Air National Guard, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Staff from DPSCD visited Selfridge to tour the various facilities and observed individuals in careers that Davis Aerospace students could be moving into in the next few years.
