Central Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
At Central High School, attendance is a high priority. Each student must maintain regular and punctual daily attendance in all classes. Class attendance is necessary for learning and academic achievement, as well as for developing the habits and skills necessary for success in college and a career.
- Students must enter and exit through the LaSalle doors.
- Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
- Breakfast is served from 7:30 am - 8:00 am.
- Students will enter 1st hour classes at 8:00 am.
- Students are dismissed at 2:55 p.m.
Central High Entry Schedule
- Students may enter for breakfast- 7:30 am - 7:50 am.
- Students may enter 1st hour classes 8:00 am - 8:30 am.
- All students are held in the vestibule area until the next class period.
- Students are free to enter and proceed to the 2nd hour class- 8:50 am - 9:00 am.
- Students may enter the 2nd hour class with a pass from 9:00 am - 9:30 am.
- All students are held in the vestibule area until the next class period- 9:30 am - 9:50 am.
- Students are free to proceed to the 3rd hour- 9:50 am- 10:00 am.
- Students are welcome to class with a pass from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
- Students must be signed in by a guardian to enter the building at 10:30 am.
- Late students must wait in the vestibule area between the front door and the metal detectors while awaiting entry.
Students must be in uniform to proceed to class
- Black, Navy Blue, White, or Gray Top and or bottom
- Full shirts with at least 1 inch straps and a covered midriff
- Bottoms must reach the knee
- Uncovered heads and faces at all times.
- Shoes must have straps or closed toes.
- Legs must be covered to the knee.
