Dress Code Policy

Uniforms are to be worn every day!

Khaki or black pants

Khaki or black dresses, or skirts (knee-length)

Grade level colored Polo shirt

9^th Black 10^thGray11^th Blue 12^th Gold

Turtlenecks and polo styles are permitted

Closed-toe shoes only

Student ID Cards must always be worn

Students are required to follow the EEVPA dress code (Khaki color or black pants/slacks or knee-length skirts with a class-level color polo shirt. Blue or black hooded sweatshirts and hoods are not to be worn at any time. Students out of the dress code will not be allowed to attend class. Students should wear student IDs daily.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS (Not Permitted in School):

Type of footwear that could constitute a safety hazard is always prohibited.

Hair rollers, hair curlers, plastic hair bags, hairnets, hair bonnets, sweat bands and skullcaps are always prohibited, except headwear worn for legitimate Flip flops, house slippers, steel-toe-shoes or boots, or any other

Religious and cultural purposes with documentation on file.

Leggings and obscene paraphernalia are always prohibited.

Ripped, torn, shredded, distressed or otherwise modified clothing and see-through are always prohibited.

Clothing that is either revealing or provocative, showing the abdominal region or cleavage, T-shirts or halter-tops, biker pants, or pants allowed to sag below the waistline or are excessively tight are always prohibited.

Bedtime attire such as pajamas, undershirts, or undergarments like outerwear and blankets are always prohibited.

Students' clothing, jewelry or tattoos may not display statements or pictures that are related to the use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or sex, or that promote hate and/or violence or signify gang affiliations are always prohibited.

Attire that may be considered weapons, including but not limited to chain belts or wallet chains, are always prohibited.
