Parent Information

Please review the following dismissal procedures for a smooth and safe transition for our scholars.

All PK-8 student after-school pickups will be located in the rear of the school. Walkers will exit the rear of the building also.

Preschool - door #12 at 3:30PM

Kindergarten door #9 at 3:30PM

1st/2nd grade - Door 3 & Door 6 at 3:35PM

3rd-5th grade - Door 13 & 14 at 3:40PM

6th-8th grade - Door 15 at 3:40PM

Only bus students and special transportation exit the front door.

We have included a map to help guide parents as to where they are to pick up their students and a diagram is on the map to show the flow of how parents are directed to drive through the parking lot to keep the flow of the traffic moving as swiftly as possible. Parents, please be mindful of students walking through the parking lot. Please keep your driving speed as low as possible to maintain the safety of the students.

Late Pick-Up Guidelines

To ensure the safety and supervision of students not picked up on time, our school has established clear guidelines for late pickups. If a student is not picked up within 15 minutes of dismissal or the end of an after-school activity, designated staff will supervise the student and attempt to contact parents/guardians. If contact cannot be made within an hour, DPSCD Public Safety will be involved, and Child Protective Services (CPS) may be engaged. Parents are urged to provide accurate emergency contact information and adhere to pickup times. Repeated late pickups will require a meeting with the Principal to develop a plan of action and could result in a loss of privileges or even police action.
