Ms. Wilkinson is a lifelong Detroiter and an alumni of Detroit Public Schools.  She attended Edwin Denby High and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she obtained a Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Teaching Mathematics.  She also holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.  

Ms. Wilkinson has 28 years of experience in servicing our students in the Detroit Public School Community District. Her work experience includes Assistant Principal, Master Teacher/Fellow, Mathematics Instructional Specialist, and K-8 teaching.  Ms. Wilkinson sets no limits or boundaries when it comes to improving the success of all students.

She embraces any opportunity at becoming a more prolific instructional leader, that will help students and teachers reach their potential. She describes herself as being patient, creative, persistent, and a very hard worker.  Her enthusiasm for academic excellence and cohesive relationships with all stakeholders, allows her to understand the needs of students, parents, teachers, and the community.
