Hello Clark Preparatory Academy Community,

I am excited to be returning as your principal this year. I am a native Detroiter and a product of Detroit Public Schools. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Tuskegee University and my Master’s Degree from Wayne State. I have been an educator in the Detroit Public Schools Community for over twenty years. I was an elementary school teacher for ten years. Then I became an elementary and middle school assistant principal for ten and a half years.

I believe that the greatest positive impact on a child’s education comes from the shared belief among every stakeholder that all children can learn. My goal is to establish a positive climate and culture where students thrive. I am looking forward to supporting your child’s education and working with you this school year.
