Dr. Jean-Daniel Ostertag

Dr. Ostertag's journey in education spans across France, a Michigan private school, and the Detroit Public Schools. In 1994, he began his career at the Foreign Language Immersion School (F.L.I.C.S.) as a teacher, where he taught for sixteen years spanning second to fifth grade. Transitioning into leadership roles, he has served as an Assistant Principal and Principal since 2010. Additionally, he has contributed to Wayne State University's French Department as a teacher. Dr. Ostertag's academic achievements include a Master's Degree, a Specialist Degree in School Administration, and a Doctorate (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Wayne State University. He joined our school as Assistant Principal in August 2019.
