Degrees and Certifications:

Dr. Jean-Daniel Ostertag

Dr. Ostertag has been an educator in France, in a Michigan private school, and in the Detroit Public Schools. In 1994, he started as a teacher at the Foreign Language Immersion School (F.L.I.C.S.). There, he taught for sixteen years as a second to fifth grade teacher. Since 2010, he served as an Assistant Principal and a Principal. He taught classes at Wayne State University in the French Department. At Wayne State University, he completed a Master’s Degree, a Specialist Degree in School Administration, and finally a Doctorate (Ed. D) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. He has been working in our school since August 2019 as the Assistant Principal.
