College for Creative Studies is one of our artistic partners!

We are pleased to have faculty and other CCS staff to partner and work with our art teachers to teach students basic and advanced skills in fashion design, pottery, visual arts and more. The CCS faculty and staff, with support and guidance from our DSA teachers, come regularly to teach students and enhance their artistic growth and development in many skills.

Saturday Arts Academy

College for Creative Studies, in conjunction with The Detroit School of Arts, Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, and the Detroit Public School Community District, have developed a unique, creative education opportunity for interested, passionate 7th & 8th grade students, to explore the arts alongside Detroit’s masterful art educators and teaching artists. The Saturday Arts Academy will provide Detroit youth safe, focused space to engage in building skills in visual and performing arts; and connect to advanced arts education and career information
