Mrs. LaTasha Thomas

LaTasha Thomas, a native Detroiter and Detroit Public Schools alumna, received a Bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and a Master’s degree from Grand Valley State University. As an educator for DPSCD, I have served students as a Teacher and Math Master Teacher. I am excited to continue my journey of service as the Assistant Principal for Davison Elementary-Middle School!

I believe that every student is capable of learning and reaching their greatest potential. I also believe that positive relationship building is integral to students’ success; students need to feel loved and assured that we have their best interests at heart. While fostering relationships, we can continue to challenge our scholars academically to prepare them for success throughout their educational journey. My goal is to continue to equip our scholars with the necessary skills to achieve their future goals.
