Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week
Every School Day Matters – Success begins with showing up – both in the classroom and in the game. At Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD), we have seen first-hand how daily attendance fuels achievement; not just academically, but also in the spirited arenas of school sports. Data is undeniable – students who consistently attend school are significantly more likely to read at grade level by the 8th grade and are four times more likely to be college and career ready when they take the SAT.
