Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a schoolwide system approach aimed at establishing positive student culture and individualized behavior supports necessary to create a safe and effective learning environment for all students. Students earned points in various ways. The ultimate goal of PBIS is to create a positive and inclusive school culture where students can thrive academically and socially. This framework is not limited to schools and can be adapted for use in various settings, including workplaces and community organizations. For the month of November, students that made their PBIS goal were treated to music, games and snow cones. Students enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to the next event.
