8th Grade Pinning Ceremony

On Friday, January 17, 2025, 8th grade students and parents participated in our first 8th grade pinning ceremony ever.  Our Attendance Agent Ms. Edwards led this emotional and uplifting event. At the beginning, students and their parents took the stage, reciting a heartfelt creed in which they pledged to work hard and be responsible for the rest of the year.  Tears flowed as parents pinned their children, symbolizing their support and pride. As the ceremony drew to a close, Ms. Edwards signaled to Mr. Wiley to play "We Are One" by Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. The song, full of unity and hope, resonated deeply with everyone in the room, symbolizing the collective effort of students, parents, and the school working together toward success.
