Mock President Election

On November 4, 2024, the day before the real election, you could feel the excitement in the air as Dossin students from kindergarten through 8th grade took part in a mock Presidential election.  For most students, this was their first time voting, and they were excited to learn how elections work. They chose candidates, and talked about what each candidate stood for. Then they went to a special voting booth, filled out ballots, and cast their votes just like grown-ups do. The whole event helped students understand how important voting is and showed them how people make choices in a democracy. It was a fun and exciting way to learn about elections!  By the way, Dossin students predicted the 47th President of the United States will be Vice President Kamala Harris!  Here's the data...
