Detroit Student Wins $20,000 Scholarship in Black Excellence Competition
Detroit, MI – Isyss Christerfield has been awarded a $20,000 college scholarship, winning the grand prize in the Detroit Pistons Foundation's Black Excellence Scholarship Competition. This marks the fourth year that students from DSA have participated in the competition, thanks to the dedication of our visual arts department, who shared the exciting news.
Please join us in congratulating Isyss Christerfield for winning the grand prize of $20,000 in college scholarship money on behalf of the Detroit Pistons Foundation's Black Excellence Scholarship Competition," the teacher announced. This is our fourth year participating in this competition! Our visual arts department is excited to continue to facilitate this opportunity every year to uplift our incredible students!
