Voter Registration Comes to Denby

Empowering Young Adults

DPSCD and the Government and Community Affairs department have partnered with CIVICS 360 (a non-profit voter registration organization) to register the graduating seniors from Denby High School for the upcoming elections in August and November. There are 84 graduating seniors from Denby this year and 48 were registered. That's nearly 60% of the seniors that are now registered to vote!

These are the goals of this initiative:

1. Securing their voter registration card

2. Increase their civic responsibility as new young adults

3. Empowering them to use their voice and their vote to address the concerns of their community
