9th Graders Tour Wayne State


On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the 9th-grade students of Communication and Media Arts (CMA) were given the opportunity to explore Wayne State University, nestled in the vibrant heart of midtown Detroit. For many, it was their first glimpse into the world of higher education. As they navigated the sprawling campus, guided by knowledgeable hosts, the students were immersed in the bustling energy of university life. They visited classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities, absorbing the palpable sense of learning and community. Conversations with current students and faculty members provided valuable insights into academic programs and career paths. The visit left an indelible impression, igniting aspirations and broadening horizons for these young learners.
