Crockett Midtown High School of Science and Medicine programs and curriculum provide students with opportunities in the medical and science industries. Crockett Midtown offers rigorous academic courses, athletics, clubs, student government and leadership, and numerous experiences to ensure students are fully prepared to advance towards their post-secondary goals. Free Parent Academy Offerings: Understanding Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop will assist parents with understanding the importance of the Federal student aid application process. The focus will be on deadlines and debunking popular myths surrounding FAFSA. Wednesday May 31, 2023, from 4:00-5:00 P.M. Link: http://bit.ly/3i99VB5. School Based Health Centers: School-based health centers are offered in partnership with Ascension, Henry Ford Health, MAG Solutions, and the Institute for Population Health. Your child can receive health services regardless of insurance coverage, ability to pay, or immigration status. The health centers provide primary health care services and/or behavioral health services for children ages 5-21 (or up to 26 if they are Exceptional Student Education students). Students do not have to attend school at the location of the clinic. Please contact your school office for more information.
June Celebrations: During the month of June the District will celebrate Juneteenth, we are encouraging all families to join the Detroit NAACP at the June Jubilee celebration which runs Thursday, June 22 –Sunday, June 25. June is Pride Month and families are invited to participate in the Pride Fest on Saturday June 10 at Mumford High School. In addition, we look forward to celebrating Dads on Sunday, June 18. Finally, we will be hosting the 22-23 School Year Retiree Breakfast on Monday, June 26, 2023.
