A reminder, the 2022-23 school year starts on Monday, August 29, 2022. We can’t wait to see you in a DPSCD school later this month!

Drop Box Locations Add to Your Enrollment Options: If you are out and about, you can pick up and drop off your DPSCD enrollment packets for your student or students at our convenient Drop Box locations in the City of Detroit. Our Drop Boxes are another way DPSCD has your back as you prepare for the 2022-23 school year that begins on Monday, August 29, 2022. For information on enrollment for the 2022-23 school year, visit detroitk12.org/enroll. Families can also fill out this survey to request help with enrollment or receive updates from the District.

Parent Academy Workshops This Week: Presented by the Office of Enrollment, you can help your child navigate through the transition from middle school to high school during this Parent Academy workshop on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. To join the free session, click here. Also, be sure to check out the Understanding Students' Virtual Learning Environment on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. to learn the in's and outs of the Power School Student portal. Summer on the Block Party for Teachers and Staff is Thursday, August 18, 2022: DPSCD teachers and staff, you are invited to attend the Summer on the Block for Teachers and staff at Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School (3200 E. Lafayette) from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be games, food, entertainment and much more for our teachers and staff while on the Block. Check out the internal HUB post for more information.
