Trailblazers attend the "Giant Step Teen Conference"

On October 29, 2024, Central students attended the "Giant Step Teen Conference" from 9:45 am until 1:45 pm. The event was sponsored by the Merrill Palmer Institute on Wayne State University's campus.

This conference brings teenagers from diverse backgrounds together to discover all the issues they have in common. Public, private, charter, parochial, and even home schools from across southeast Michigan have sent thousands of students to Giant Step. Students come from different neighborhoods, cultures, races, incomes, and outlooks. Thank you to Mrs. Redwine for making this trip possible for our Trailblazers—job well done.
