College Day Event at Central

Central High School hosted a College Fair on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, welcoming 32 recruiters who engaged with over 400 students about their post-secondary options. Seniors had the exciting opportunity to receive on-the-spot college admissions and scholarships. Students explored various pathways, speaking with military recruiters, college representatives, and skilled trades professionals about their futures. Information about academics, scholarships, campus housing, Greek life, and class sizes was readily available. Among the attendees were six Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It was a special day for Central High School, and both students and staff are already looking forward to next year's event.
