National Honors Society at Central High School
Induction Ceremony
Central High School has reestablished the National Honor Society (NHS) with 30 students being inducted on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the Durfee Innovation Center, 2470 Collingwood St., Detroit, Michigan, 48206, from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm.
Qualifications
The NHS is the country's organization that recognizes outstanding high school students. It is more than just an honor roll, the NHS serves to award those students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and work hard in the areas of leadership and service. Ms. Stewart, the advisor, is proud of the students who will be a part of the induction ceremony. If you need more information, contact Ms. Stewart via email at chejuana.stewart@detroitk12.org.
Benefits for College
The National Honors Society is a great addition to a College application. When most colleges see the NHS information on the application, they know the CHS students have earned the grades.
