Parent Involvement Day
At Burton, parent involvement plays a crucial role in the success of our scholars, creating a strong sense of community and support. We recently celebrated Black History Month with an engaging event that highlighted culture, heritage, and history while also providing valuable resources for families. This event was a testament to the power of collaboration between parents, educators, and students, showcasing the importance of learning beyond the classroom. When families take an active role in their children’s education, students feel more supported, empowered, and motivated to achieve academic and personal success.
We encourage parents to take even more initiative in future events and opportunities to engage with the school community. These events not only celebrate diversity and heritage but also foster meaningful connections that benefit both students and their families. Whether through volunteering, attending workshops, or simply showing up in support, parent participation strengthens the foundation of our school. At Burton, we value the partnership between home and school and look forward to even greater parent involvement in the future.
