Expect Respect Word of the Month: Kindness

The Expect Respect word of the month is Kindness. Throughout the month we will focus on behavior that exemplifies Kindness. As part of our weekly assemblies, we will include this Anti-Bullying Pledge :

“I pledge to support others who have been hurt or harmed, treat others with kindness, be more accepting of people’s differences and help include those who are left out. I pledge to help create a world without bullying through kindness, acceptance and inclusion.”

PBIS Team will do random checks and have students answer:

How did I show kindness today?
What could I have done differently to show more kindness today?
How will I show kindness tomorrow?

Extra activity: At the end of the day, bring students together and have students pull a name of one of their classmates and say something kind about them.
