Maybury Quarter 1 PBIS Student Celebration

Students Rewarded with Video Game Truck Party for Outstanding Performance

In an exciting and fun-filled celebration, a group of students at Maybury were treated to a special video game truck, nachos, and outdoor game party, recognizing their exemplary behavior, stellar grades, and great attendance. The event, held on Friday, November 22nd, brought smiles and laughter to students who worked hard all marking period long to achieve this remarkable milestone.

The video game truck, equipped with state-of-the-art gaming consoles and a variety of popular games, was parked on the school grounds for a day of non-stop entertainment. It was a reward for students who consistently displayed great academic performance, a positive attitude, and maintained perfect or near-perfect attendance throughout the first marking period.

"We wanted to recognize the students who went above and beyond this first quarter," said Mrs. Smith, the school's principal. "Their dedication to learning and responsibility is inspiring, and this event is a small way for us to celebrate their efforts."

Students selected for the reward were nominated by teachers for showing a strong work ethic, contributing to a positive classroom environment, and consistently turning in high-quality work. In addition, those with perfect or near-perfect attendance were given priority for this unique treat.

The event was not only a fun break from regular schoolwork but also served as an incentive for others to strive for excellence in their academics, behavior, and attendance.

"It feels great to be recognized for all my hard work," said Alexa, one of the students who earned the reward. "I had so much fun playing with my friends. It makes me want to keep up my good work!"

The video game truck provided an exciting and memorable experience, with students bonding over games and food, and celebrating their successes together. With the first marking period over, this event served as a reminder that hard work, responsibility, and positive choices do pay off.

The school plans to continue similar initiatives in the future to motivate students and help them realize the value of striving for their best in all areas of their school life.
