Cultural Passports

MLA scholars have attended a number of cultural passports, which are culturally enhancing field trips and District, School and/or Parent Sponsored, where students are able to explore a variety of activities from Kindergarten students watching the stageplay Swan Lake to our Middle School Scholars enjoying the day in the country town of Ypsilanti at the Wiard's Apple Orchard. Our 8th Grade Scholars were also able to spend a day with Hill Harper at Little Casears Arena for the Future Smart Event.

Cultural Passports allow students to gain an understanding of the arts and sciences outside of the classroom in meaningful ways.
