We draw upon the expertise of our educators and work together to create models of outstanding achievement in every classroom. Through implementing high-quality instructional materials and transforming the academic culture in our schools, we challenge and inspire our students to thrive in the world. With a wide variety of academics and enrichment opportunities aligned with state standards, we support students in unlocking their potential as they extend their skills and talents beyond the classroom. Our core curriculum includes:
- English Language Arts - We are committed to nurturing and developing a strong literacy foundation for all students in the early school years by implementing literacy instructional frameworks that prepare students to become independent readers and writers.
- Math - The mathematics curriculum seeks to ensure mathematical competence and confidence in students in mathematics-rich classroom environments.
- Science - Classroom experiences in science are connected to real-world phenomena and provide opportunities to engage in science and engineering practices through exposure to STEM-related career pathways.
- Social Studies - Students gain the content knowledge, intellectual skills, and core democratic values necessary for fulling their civic duties in a participatory democracy and effectively engaging in our global society.

Student achievement is the number one goal at Noble Elementary-Middle School, and the journey toward College and Career Readiness begins at the elementary level. Through a rigorous and challenging curriculum, students are challenged to reach their highest potential and encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning.
Elementary (Grades K-5)
Language Arts
The Language Arts curriculum enables students to develop and achieve independent and strategic oral and written communication skills necessary for the 21st century. Daily classroom instruction includes:
- Reading
- Writing
- Word Study/Spelling
- Handwriting
Mathematics
The elementary mathematics curriculum features hands-on learning strategies and techniques, such as sorting, collecting data, measuring, computing, graphing, and calculating.
Science
The Noble science program conditions students to ask questions about and understand and appreciate the world around them. It also teaches students to develop solutions to problems through hands-on activities and digital content.
Social Studies
The social studies curriculum encourages students to become self-directed, responsible and thoughtful citizens by establishing the connection between them and their families to local, state, national and international governments. The curriculum covers:

Middle School (Grades 6-8)
English
The Middle School English Program develops students’ skills in a variety of ways. Students read a diverse selection of literature, including novels, short stories, poetry, plays, and biographies. As students progress from one grade level to the next, they develop a more thorough understanding of the complexities of the elements of literature (plot, character development, themes, etc.) They develop their analytical abilities by applying a wide range of strategies to comprehend, interpret, evaluate, and appreciate texts.Social StudiesThe Middle School Social Science Program promotes a deepened understanding of the heritage of civilization, cultural diversity, democracy and civic responsibility, global interdependence, and relationships between humans and their natural environments.Mathematics
The Middle School mathematics program is committed to placing students in classes where they will thrive and be challenged to the best of their abilities. Teachers are available for extra help to students experiencing difficulties. Mathematics classes include:
Math 6, Math 7, Pre-Algebra 8 pathway
Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry pathway
Science
The Middle School Science Program emphasizes learning through a combination of teacher-directed lessons and interactive lab activities. Students learn ways to improve their use of the scientific method. Students are provided with regular opportunities to use their skills of observation, prediction, measurement, and drawing conclusions.

In addition to the core curricular areas taught, students participate in a wide range of specialist classess, taught by staff who focus solely on their chosen fields.
Elective classes for grades K-8 include the following:
Art
The art program at Noble Elementary-Middle School blends self-expression, the development of creative thinking, and an appreciation for art history. These elements are the foundation for the development of children’s ability to visually express their ideas. Our goals are to reinforce their deeply rooted creative impulses without inhibition, and to help them build confidence in their expression.
Computer Science
The media and technology team has integrated their areas of instruction to create multi-disciplinary classes for Noble students in grades K-8. The focus is to enhance Noble's curriculum through the use of current and evolving technology and problem-solving skills. Teachers works closely with the classroom teachers to integrate skills with numerous aspects of grade level curriculum.
Physical Education
All students participate in physical education every day or every other day. Emphasis is on participation, sportsmanship, and skill development. The program includes activities associated with health and fitness.
