Our 8th grade students learn a valuable lesson
Our eighth grade students may have many responsibilities, including at times caring for elders and younger siblings. It is important that they know what to do in case an emergency occurs. Today, the eighth grade students learned the most effective way to save a life, Hands Only CPR. Hands Only CPR can help gain precious time for a person experiencing a cardiac event but knowing First Aid, CPR and how to use an AED will enable you to provide life-saving care in a range of emergencies. In addition, hands only CPR makes it more attractive to bystanders who are usually less than willing to give mouth to mouth. Comprising only one step to save a life, it is the newest and easiest way to treat cardiac arrest in the field and points to the importance of compressions in saving lives anywhere.
