DPSCD Pop-Up Enrollment Centers Open This Week! To assist you with enrolling your student in a DPSCD school, the District is opening convenient Pop-Up Enrollment Centers effective Monday, Aug. 9, 2021 at the following locations:
- Central-Benjamin Carson High School 571 Mack Ave.
- Southwest-Earhart Elementary Middle School 1000 Scotten
- East- Ronald Brown Academy 530 E. Outer Dr.
- Northeast-Brenda Scott Academy 18440 Hoover
- West-Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School 16147 W. Chicago
- Northwest-Gompers Elementary-Middle School 14450 Burt Rd.
The general operating hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. More information can be found at www.detroitk12.org/popup. DPSCD has also expanded the number of enrollment drop box locations to further serve our families. How Will You Rise Up with DPSCD This School Year Video Contest Starts Mon. Aug. 9! With the new school year starting on September 7, the District wants to hear how our students are planning to 'Rise Up' for the 2021-2022 school year! Submit your video, between :15 -:30 seconds in length, from Aug. 9 through Aug. 20. Please visit www.detroitk12.org/riseupvideo for more information.

Get Ready for the Annual Back to School Expo on Sat. Aug. 28 10 a.m.-3 p.m.! There will be delicious food, family entertainment and many opportunities to explore school programs as well as meet with school staff from across the District! The Back-to-School Expo will be held at three convenient locations: East English Village Preparatory Academy, Western International High School and Randolph Career Tech Center. Come and join us for this festive and informative event!

In partnership with Wayne Health and Detroit Change Initiative, DPSCD’s Greenfield Union Elementary-Middle School will host the clinic from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Services include sports physicals, childhood wellness exams, blood pressure screening and COVID-19 vaccinations (12+ years old) as well as links to community resources.
