Edison’s Wild Day at the Detroit Zoo!
Edison Elementary students enjoyed an exciting and educational adventure during their visit to the Detroit Zoo! The day was filled with discovery, exploration, and hands-on learning that brought classroom lessons to life.
Students participated in engaging learning labs focused on animal adaptations—discovering how animals survive and thrive in their natural environments. From camouflage and migration to unique physical features, scholars gained a deeper understanding of how animals are built to meet the challenges of their habitats.
After the labs, students had the chance to walk around the zoo, observing a variety of animals up close—from towering giraffes and playful penguins to majestic lions and curious primates. The experience was both fun and educational, reminding everyone how important it is to protect and appreciate the amazing creatures we share our world with.
