Quarter 2 Progress Report: Progress reports will be distributed Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13 and can be viewed in the web version of the PowerSchool Public Portal. In addition to grades and progress reports, the Public Portal allows you to see your student’s attendance and scheduling information. Visit the Parent Portal, if you need assistance with accessing the parent portal reach out to your school.
Application High School Deadline Closes Wednesday, December 11, 2024: The Round 1 admission window to the District’s application high school is coming to a close. The deadline to apply is this Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants can apply for the Fall 2025 admissions to the following schools: CMA, Davis Aerospace, DSA, DIA, and Crockett. DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: Academy of the Americas (AOA) is a Spanish Dual Language Immersion School with two campuses: Cub Campus (PK-3rd) and Tiger Campus (4th–12th). AOA’s 90/10 language model immerses students in Spanish, gradually balancing Spanish and English instruction as they advance. Beyond academics, AOA offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including art, sports, and robotics, so every child can explore their interests. AOA students are achievers:

DPSCD Staff Spotlight of the Week: Randall Coleman, Principal at Davison Elementary Middle School recently received The Game Changers Award a program presented by Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan. This program recognizes educators and non-profit leaders for their positive impact within their school community. Principal Coleman was presented with a jersey, banner, and a check for $750 to support classroom and non-profit initiatives and an additional $500 to provide hunger relief within the school community. Congratulations Principal Coleman for the outstanding impact you have on the Davison school community.
