Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week
Alumni Spotlight of the Week: Zaniya Kelly, a proud graduate of Davis Aerospace High School, attributes her success to the foundation laid by the Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD). She firmly believes that "There is no circumstance that can limit the heights you can reach." As a Transit Outreach Specialist for TRUE, Kelly explores her passion for the environment and culture, a spark ignited at Davis Aerospace through hands-on aviation experiences. A recent career highlight for Kelly was the privilege of introducing the President of the United States Joe Biden, underscoring her impressive accomplishments. Watch here, as Kelly speaks about her career milestones and reminisce about her time at Davis Aerospace. Kelly encourages DPSCD students to believe in themselves, grab every opportunity, and not let their circumstances define their future.
