DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: This week, we’re thrilled to highlight Clippert Academy, a community of learners excelling both in and out of the classroom! During the 2023-2024 school year, Clippert achieved impressive milestones at the elementary and middle school level, including ranking in the Top 5 for Average Daily Attendance, being among the Top 5% Not Chronically Absent, and earning recognition as a Top 5 School for Proficiency in I-Ready Math Growth, showcasing remarkable student engagement and progress. Offering a well-rounded education, Clippert provides opportunities such as honors classes for advanced academics, art & PE electives to foster creativity and wellness, and sports like soccer, basketball, softball, and flag football to build teamwork and sportsmanship. Quarter 2 / Semester 1 Report Cards Available This Week: Report Cards will be distributed on Thursday, January 23, 2025, and can be viewed in the web version of the PowerSchool Public Portal. In addition to grades and report cards, the Public Portal allows you to see your student’s attendance and scheduling information. If you need assistance with accessing the Parent Portal, please reach out to your school.
Parent Academy Workshop: DPSCD families, find a course for you. Make sure you schedule a reminder in your calendar to update yourself about workshops you want to join virtually or in person. Be sure to invite your friends and other family members. View the catalog to learn more about additional workshops and events happening this week.
Middle of the Year End-of-Course Assessment Window This Week: DPSCD High School Students and Families, the middle of year end-of-course assessment window opens tomorrow Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Please make sure your students get adequate rest and a nutritious breakfast. Students will take end-of-course assessments in math, reading, science, and/or social studies based on their course enrollment. These assessments help teachers better understand your student’s academic progress. For more information, please contact your school.
Secretary of State Mobile Unit Returns for High School Students and their families: The Government and Community Affairs team is excited to announce the return of the Secretary of State mobile units. High school students and their families can receive the services below:

- First Time License or State ID
- Converting to the new "REAL ID" card
- Voter registration
- Transferring a vehicle title
- Registering a vehicle
- Applying for parking placard
- Applying for disability parking license plate
